Little Angel & Holy Communion
Here she is with her First Holy Communion and is so proud of it.
First Holy Communion is a special time in our childrens life that starts them on the road to deepening their faith and relationship with the Lord, and is definitely one of the most important days in their lives. The spiritual sacrament is very significant. My lovely-niece Quiona has made vows and commitments and as she was participating with the rest of the church in the Lord's Supper, she felt so special, and created memories for a life time.
So beautiful in her white First Communion dress.
Tip of the Month from CELEBRATIONS

At many large parties, toasting the guest of honor or the host with wine or champagne may be expected.
Anyone considering to making a toast should prepare beforehand, if only to rehearse mentally so as not to fumble the words. Keep whatever you say short and to the point.
The protocol points of toasting:
The host is the first to toast, attracting the guest's attention by standing and raising his or her glass.
The person being toasted does not drink himself. After being toasted, the person rises, bows his acknowledgment, and says thank you.
Following some sampling of international toasts:
Dutch - Proost
French - A votre santé
German - Prosit
Hebrew - L'Chayim
Italian - Salute
Japanese - Kampai
Portuguese - Brindare
Spanish - Salud
Turkish - Serefe
Thai - Choc tee

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to The Mother of Abundance

Marco Barrientos - Ven Espíritu, Ven
Keep wearing virtues as your ornaments. Keep loving others. Keep giving regard. You have to go beyond the stars. Keep thoughts higher than the sky, and abundance of patience like the earth. Keep spiritual love in your eyes. The wealthiest of all are those who are pure hearted.
Prayer: Dear Father, all-sufficient God, let me be a letter from Christ written to people who need to hear the good news, written not on paper with ink but on hearts with my loving attitudes and actions. I claim no self-sufficiency, but I believe the sufficiency of Your grace qualifies me to serve as a spokesman for Your new covenant. I hope through Christ that You might use me this way. Grant me this sufficiency as I rely totally on You. In the name of Jesus, confident of His sufficiency, I make these requests. Amen.

Kòrsou Renobá! We often question things. But given the chance, how would we do things differently?
After Referendum >> Unto the Hills:
We live in an age of many questions. The newspapers and television bring the horrors of the word onto our front doorstep and our living rooms. You are given this island where several cultures live. They have been living this way for centuries without any sign of improvement.
Your Assignment:
To try to improve on yourself and this society. How? By teaching yourself and others to live together in harmony and reduce suffering to a minimum or eliminate it entirely.
Your Resources:
You have all the resources. Remember: Everything start with The Self! You always have the opportunity to play God. Its quite simple: BE GOOD, DO GOOD, LIVE WELL and SHARE LOVE. We must delve into the very purpose of creation.
Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude. Christ, the Alpha & the Omega, is Lord over the beginnings & endings of our lives. Today is His, completely. Everything that concerns us… is in His control. Christ, the author & finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), is the initiator of life’s every detail. Kòrsou ta kubrí ku Su Sanger presioso. Amen.

When a moment of stress hit my day I always read a poem called "Moments in Life". The author is unknown. The poem is as follows:
Moments in Life
There are moments in life when you miss someone
so much that you just want to pick them from
your dreams and hug them for real!
When the door of happiness closes, another opens;
but often times we look so long at the
closed door that we don't see the one,
which has been opened for us.
Don't go for looks; they can deceive.
Don't go for wealth; even that fades away.
Go for someone who makes you smile,
because it takes only a smile to
make a dark day seem bright.
Find the one that makes your heart smile.
Dream what you want to dream;
go where you want to go;
be what you want to be,
because you have only one life
and one chance to do all the things
you want to do.
May you have enough happiness to make you sweet,
enough trials to make you strong,
enough sorrow to keep you human and
enough hope to make you happy.
The happiest of people don't necessarily
have the best of everything;
they just make the most of
everything that comes along their way.
The brightest future will always
be based on a forgotten past;
you can't go forward in life until
you let go of your past failures and heartaches.
When you were born, you were crying
and everyone around you was smiling.
Live your life so at the end,
you're the one who is smiling and everyone
around you is crying.
Thanks for reading my mail.

When I have had a stress during the day, the first thing I do when I come home is go directly to my garden. I talk to my plants, give them much more attention than usual. After doing this I feel great and thankful to God that I can feel happy again.

I have pictures of my kids smiling in different places, in my house, in my car, in my wallet, at my desk at the office. To put a smile on their faces is my biggest motivation to feel good, to be happy, to be strong, I have to be to be there for them.....In return they give me so much Joy, they let me feel good, they make me happy, they make me strong.....

Hi Monique,
when I get those moments, I like to play a healing song, since stress is partly a condition of the soul, where there is no peace. My favorite healing song is this one:
Artist: Shaina Noll
Album: Songs for the Inner Child
Song: You can Relax now
You can refer to this website: http://www.shainanoll.com/
Some lyrics of this album that really helps release stress and inspire me:
"Deep peace of the running wave to you, deep peace of the flowing air to you, deep peace of the gentle night to you, moon and stars pour their healing light on you…"
"You can relax now… you are the child of God, and that will never change"
It usually makes me feel like crying, and sometimes I even do, but at the end I feel peace, as if the Lord really drew out of me feelings of sadness, tiredness and frustration.
I hope you can get this song. It is definitely empowering.
Blessings,
Shurminia Martina-Rafaël

When a moment of stress hits my way I turn to my One and only "Pill". It's a "Pill" for which you need no prescription, it's a "Pill" that is always available....I turn to my Saviour Jesus Christ thru prayer.
Life is stressful....but if you have God in your life...He will walk you thru stressful times and make them stress free.
Blessings,

Dear Monique,
In times of worry I always think of the birds how God provides for them,
so if in times of need we must casten our care upon him for he care it for
us. This is my way of dealing with any situation. If we stay calm and don't
leave emotions rule over us we can deal with any situations.
And if it is pretty bad my only comfort is that God can turn around any bad
situation in my favor I must let Him do His work.
Kind regards,
Carresse Istatia

Dear Monique,
Of course I will participate!
A phrase I knew by action, has been put out in words for me.
I had an "aha experience" with this phrase:
THE WILL OF GOD WILL NEVER TAKE YOU WHERE THE GRACE OF GOD WILL NOT PROTECT YOU.
Kind regards,
Geselle Coffi

Dear Monique,
The affirmation I like to use is:
"I KNOW THAT EVERYTHING HAPPENS WITH PERFECT TIMING'
"TUR KOS TA PASA PA UN MOTIBU"
I Know for sure that the Good Lord guides us continually and satisfies our needs with good things. Isaiah 58:11
These words are really comforting, as sometimes things don't happen as we want or expect, and to avoid frustrating or stress feelings I use these wise words.
Have a blessed week.

My 3 months old little son!!
I can be stressed, worried, sad or happy...
Just looking at him in person or on a picture, on my desktop or
on my phone, inspires me and fill me with endless love. Takes away
my stress, my worries, my sadness and makes me happier...
Looking at his bright innocent eyes, his tiny fingers, and his little
mouth giggling and smiling at me, breaks my heart in thousands pieces and makes it whole again, filling me with abundance of love, words can't express. It's like the world stops moving, and like everything around me is frozen exept the two of us and the love flowing from our hearts and filling the air...
It confirms to me that a child is a gift from heaven above, the perfect gift from
God, my Almighty Father to whom I am thankful with all my heart.
I pray fo us to use the innocence of a child, the inspiring unconditional love from a child to treat and deal
with each other.....

Dear Monique:
When the going gets rough, I always quote from the Bible in my own words:
“In my distress I pray to you Lord and Thou will answer me and rescue me. The Lord is for me, so I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me? Yes, the Lord is for me; he will help me”. Psalms 118:5-7
Dear Lord, You are the light; please illuminate my path, mind and heart and lead the way. Thank you Lord in Jesus’ name. Amen!
God Bless,
Bernadine Brill

BIRTHDAY WISHES
HOW DO YOU TALK TO YOURSELF?
(Whether you are speaking out loud or silently)

Do you use the words “can’t”, “won’t”, “don’t need to”, “why try”? Many people do!
You see your brain is like a computer that you feed each day. It doesn’t know always what’s real or not unless you tell it. Your brain just files this information for reference, its data, little zeroes and ones, and no column that asks “true or not true?” Your brain thinks, based on what you told it.
Words can be empowering. Now, what if we instead told our brain:
- I can
- I love to
- I want to
- I willI must
- I am
Try it for a week. Catch yourself saying, “I can’t”, when you don’t really mean it and instead try, “I can”, and see how you think and feel about yourself. Remember, the words you use to empower yourself will have a lasting effect, only if you practice them and they become a habit (an acquired behavior pattern regularly followed until it has become almost involuntary).
They say it takes at least 28 days to develop a habit. After a week, you will see that it becomes easier. It’s a mindset and you can control your thoughts. Be proactive and not reactive - give yourself some good words.
(from Motivating Moments)
TIP of the MONTH by Celebrations!
You should open gifts when they are given, except for weddings gifts or gifts at a large party, where opening many gifts would be impossible.
Part of the fun for the giver is to see the recipient's reaction.
When you're opening gifts at parties and celebrations, etiquette insists that you behave in a way that puts everyone at ease.
Be sensitive to the situation and show equal excitement and enthusiasm while opening all gifts.

Do you want to receive our "Tip of the month" via e-mail? E-mail us at: info@celebrations-cur.com or submit the form in "Contact Us" and we will email you each month.
Viktimanan Antiyano di Apeldoorn - With Heartfelt Sympathy
"Think of it—the Lord has healed me!" -Isaiah 38:20-
Sometimes when you ask why, God answers by reminding you of the eternal picture. The big picture is that a glorious eternity is in store for all of us. The life of our loved one is a life that will go on forever in Jesus.
To the family and relatives; at this time of deepest loss, may the comfort of the Lord and the promise of heaven sustain and strengthen your hearts with The special love and peace that only He can give.
Bo Trabou i Dios: Un Relashon Amoroso -- Felis Dia di Labor!

Your chances for success will be directly proportional to the degree of pleasure you derive from what you do. If you have a job you hate, face the fact squarely and get out. Work is reward, not punishment.
If you enjoy what you do, you'll be successful. If you don't enjoy what you do, you won't be successful. Your success in any occupation depends on your enjoyment. Loving your work will make all the difference.
Success in its highest and noblest form calls for peace of mind, enjoyment, and happiness.
This comes only when you find the work that you like best.
You don't pay the price for success.
You enjoy the price of success.
