The worst thing about our losing our tempers is the things we do and say when we lose them. "In your anger do not sin," says Ephesians 4:26.
The trouble is that usually we do sin when we're angry, don't we? Scripture in Ephesians 4 also warns against the use of bad language, bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, abusiveness, and all kinds of malice. When we lose our tempers, somehow one or more of these things pop out, don't they?
