Choose Again!

Often when we make choices in our lives we believe that those choices are irrevocable or unable to be changed. We remain locked in a choice we made 20 years ago, perhaps a choice we made by not making a choice at all, but just by going along with the circumstances of the time.

And now, years later we are still stuck in a choice from so long ago. Or maybe, someone else made the choice for us and we felt powerless to choose something else. Sometimes we are making choices that we are not even aware of. We act unconsciously, and before we know it the box of cookies is gone, the bag of chips is empty, and the Hagen Daz carton is licked clean.

After looking at the quality of our choices we must also examine the intention behind our choices. Are our choices made in the energy of faith or in the energy of fear? Choices made in the energy of faith manifest as the desires of our hearts! We have the opportunity in every moment to choose again. Our choices are not non-negotiable or irrevocable contracts. They can be renewed. We can refinance our choices at the mortgage brokerage of GOD, Inc. and live in "The land of Manifestation of My Dreams".

So go ahead, choose again! This time you can be the dancer. Choose again and you can be a singer. Choose again and you can live in Paris; travel the world, join Peace Corp. Choose again and you can get a PH.D. Choose again and you are the love of your own life.

The good news is that we always have the power to make another choice because God is a God of a second chance. And we can choose again, and not only can we choose again, but we can choose in faith knowing that God's got our back.
