LeMonique: This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it

The wind may blow from any direction, but the direction in which you go depends on how you set your sails. Every day is a gift just waiting to be unwrapped. How appreciative are you of the gift God gave you? How excited are you to find out what His gift contains? Our answers reveal a great deal about who we are. There is no reason why the people of God should be discouraged and depressed. Jesus is on the throne and God’s Word is still true as it ever was.

This is God’s day. I know you may be going through some rough times, but God is there. He wants you to enjoy the gift He gave you. Today is a gift just for you. There is so much for which to be thankful; let us show God how much we appreciate his gift by rejoicing when times are rough, by being happy when we don’t feel like it. When you think of all He does, is this too much to ask? Certainly not!

Father, I thank You that You made this day; I rejoice and am glad in it. I choose to make it the best day of my life. I embrace it with expectation and excitement.
