Desire to prosper

One of the main hindrances to prosperity is selfishness. If you live life focused only on your wants and needs, you won't be able to experience God's best. "Whatsoever a man sows that he will also reap". In other words, in order to prosper, you must learn to be a giver. You must give of your time, energy, and recources.

Just like a farmer, you must be ready and willing to plant good seeds in order to receive a good harvest. Ask the Lord to show you today how to plant the seeds of love, time, and finances you hold in your hand. Begin to plant those seeds by simply giving to others, and soon you will see abundant harvest of blessings.

A Prayer for Today: "God, it is my honor to give to others in Your name. I am blessed with so many gifts and I know that I am called to share them. My time, my talents, my resources all come from above. I will look for ways to bless others and plant the seeds of a bountiful harvest. In Jesus name, Amen"!
